Moderation

Moderation protects safety, privacy, and the usefulness of public knowledge. Popular answers must not hide warnings, expert disputes, or red flags.

Content may be marked for correction, hidden, removed, or noindexed when it contains personal data, dangerous instructions, unsupported accusations, spam, or material that violates other people’s rights.

In higher-risk categories — electrical work, gas, structure, moisture, fire, child safety, and legal/admin matters — an answer must say when to stop DIY and call the appropriate professional.

An expert dispute is a quality signal, not a regular downvote. Until resolved, it may hold bounty payout and require correction, more data, a split, or a refund.
