Privacy policy

Soft Ground processes data needed for accounts, question publishing, answers, bounty payments, moderation, safety, and transactional communication.

Public questions and answers may be visible to everyone and indexed by search engines. Do not publish addresses, phone numbers, faces, children, invoices with personal data, meters, license plates, or documents containing personal data.

Attachments are handled carefully: by default they should pass privacy and safety review before being shown publicly. Sensitive content may be hidden, noindexed, or removed.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Soft Ground should not store full payment card details. Payment, webhook, and bounty decision records are retained for accounting, audit, and dispute resolution.

For privacy matters, a user may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of data under applicable law. Public content may require anonymization rather than simple deletion when it is part of the case history or safety audit.
